TWILIGHT Eclipse has dominated the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles, scooping five of its nine nominations, including Best Kiss and Best Movie.
But Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon threatened to steal the spotlight from the vampire flick as she sunk her fangs into Hollywood's bad girls while accepting the MTV Generation Award.
"I get it, girls, that it's cool to be a bad girl," Witherspoon said.
"But it is possible to make it in Hollywood without doing a reality show. When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed."
And the 35-year-old newly married star, who is known for her wholesome roles, did not stop there.
"And if you took naked pictures of yourself on your cell phone, you hide your face, people! Hide your face!" she said.
Witherspoon's comments were seen as a thinly-veiled reference to Blake Lively, who found herself at the centre of scandal last week when nude pictures were published online by a hacker who claimed they show the Gossip Girl star.
Lively's rep has denied they are the 23-year-old and has threatened legal action against anyone who publishes them.
Presenting the award to Witherspoon was Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who also caused an eyebrow-raising moment when he joked about having sex with the blonde actress on screen in Water For Elephants.
Unfortunately for Pattinson, when he blurted, "But I did f--- you," it went live to air with MTV failing to hit the bleep button.
Pattinson also celebrated his third consecutive win in the Best Kiss category by locking lips with his co-star - but not the one that most of his teen fans were hoping to see.
When Pattinson and Kristen Stewart hit the stage to collect the gong, the British star declared he "didn't feel like kissing" his rumored girlfriend.
"I just think there's someone else in the audience who I think will appreciate it a little more," Pattinson said to Stewart on stage.
The camera then cut to fellow Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner sitting in the audience.
"Go get him," Stewart told Pattinson, before he ran into the audience to plant one on Lautner.
Pattinson and Stewart also took prizes for Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance, while The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won Best Film and Best Fight for Pattinson and co-star Bryce Dallas Howard.
The winner of the new category, Best Line in a Movie, went to child star Alexys Nycole Sanchez for saying, "I want to get chocolate wasted," in the film Grown Ups.
Best comedic performance was awarded to Emma Stone for Easy A, while Ellen Page collected the popcorn-shaped trophy for Best Scared-As-Sh*t Performance for Inception.
Other winners included Justin Bieber for Best Jaw-Dropping Moment in the concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,Tom Felton for Best Villain for his role as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
The 20th annual event was hosted by Saturday Night Live funnyman Jason Sudeikis with presenters including Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis, Ryan Reynolds, Steve Carell, Shia LaBeouf, Patrick Dempsey, Cameron Diaz, Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, Leighton Meester, Josh Duhamel and Katie Cassidy.
