Sung-bong Choi's Got Talent: Korean singer set to become global star
Sung-bong Choi has recently delivered one of the most emotional performances ever seen on a talent show.

Cynics will groan at yet another sob story, but watch Choi explain details of his childhood and it’s difficult not to be moved… and he has an incredible voice.
Dubbed the new Susan Boyle (although everyone is), the 22 year old took to the stage on Korea’s Got Talent and reduced the judges and audience to tears as he told how he was orphaned at five years old and has lived on his own ever since.

The shocked judges asked how he survived and he described living in public restrooms and selling energy drinks and gums on the street to get by.

Extremely nervous, he said “I just want to be like a normal person. I don’t sing that well but when I do sing, I feel like a different person.”

The ‘manual worker’ had nothing to be nervous about. His powerful, operatic voice earned him a standing ovation from the audience and one tearful judge said she would like to work with him and give him singing lessons, before thanking him for his “awesome performance.”

With that, Choi was of course given three well earned “yeses” and looks set to become the next YouTube smash.
