A Westmoreland County man is facing charges after police said he posted a message on Craigslist threatening a local police chief.
"I deal with victims on a routine basis. This time I was victimized," said Irwin Police Chief Joe Pocsatko.
Pocsatko described the nature of the threat to Channel 4 Action News reporter Keith Jones.
"He was going to chain me to a truck and drag me to some creek on the other side of Fayette County and drown me," said Pocsatko.
Pocsatko said he took the threat to the district attorney's office, who uncovered that it was posted the same day in February that Pocsatko pulled over 30-year-old Adrian Stock for a traffic violation.
"Snow on someone's windshield causes an obstruction. If that snow would fall off or ice would fall off, that could damage other people's vehicles," said Pocsatko.
The citation for having his car covered with snow cost Stock about $150.
Stock has been charged with misdemeanor harassment for the Facebook threat.

"When a threat comes directly to you through an online website or direct in person or a phone call, you have to be apprehensive. You have to look over your shoulder the whole time," said Pocsatko.
The post has since been removed from Craigslist.
In 2007, Stock was arrested of allegedly planning to bomb the Westmoreland County Courthouse.
In 2000, he pleaded guilty to ramming his car into a police vehicle.
