When we think of rap feuds, the first one that comes to mind is Tupac and Biggie, right? And it left both rappers dead. But the next one that comes close behind is Ja Rule and 50 Cent.
The two have been fighting since forever it seems and have recently got into it with an exchange of nasty Twitter posts.
50 Cent reportedly commented on Ja Rule through his Twitter which upset the rapper, who couldn’t believe 50 Cent still had beef after so many years. Ja Rule said in an interview that he couldn’t believe “he was still engaging me,” and that he was “done with that.”
As Ja Rule heads to the slammer to serve jail time for a gun charge, it seems that he has reportedly turned over a new leaf and put his beef with 50 Cent to rest. Could one of the biggest feuds on the rap scene really come to an end, with no bloodshed?
Ja Rule told Thelifefiles.com, “It’s cool, It’s resolved now, I ain’t beefing no more.” But don’t expect a duet to come out anytime soon. The rapper told the website, “We will never collaborate, you don’t have to be at war with somebody, you know, it’s kind of like the U.S. and another country that they may not get along with. We don’t gotta go to war, but we’re not friends either.”
He went on to explain, “We can coincide inside of a world. He’s doing him, and he’s not thinking about me, and I’m doing me and I’m not thinking about him.”
