On the final weekend of this month, Infineon Raceway will host its most-attended annual major race when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and its popular Toyota/Save Mart 350 arrive in the Valley for the 23rd time on Friday, June 24, and runs through Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26.
Measured in kilometers, with the race distance being 218.9miles or 110 laps around Infineon’s 1.99-mile road course, the Toyota/Save Mart 350 is the 16th race on the 36-race NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.
Last year, 46 drivers attempted to qualify, with the starting field in 2011 featuring 43 cars, which will make it the largest grid of any feature car race at Infineon Raceway.
Infineon’s most inclusive ticket package, the Track Pass, costs $399 and includes tickets to all major events, plus season-long VIP parking, a Pre-Race Pit and Track Pass for NASCAR, a garage pass for IndyCar and more.
Following the NASCAR happening, the Infineon Raceway 2011 Big O Tires major events season continues with the NHRA Division 7 Drag Racing weekend of July 22 to 24; the FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals from July 29 to 31; the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma weekend of Aug. 26 to 28; and the Classic Sports Racing Group Charity Challenge on Oct. 1 and 2.
